💡Feature idea: Unlock only for facilitators
1. What you want to be able to do in MURAL
I would like to be able to unlock objects only for facilitators. This makes things a little bit more complicated, but sometimes it's required to make changes to a mural while "the show" is running.
2. The problem you are trying to solve
Unlocking things for everyone (me, facilitators, visitors, members, guests, ...) to make changes while others are working on the mural, can easily create a really messy situation and lots of confusion because sometimes people will unintentionally then select and change things. Therefore:
3. Why this helps everyone (or many people)
Sometimes it's just required to adjust something on the board. More relaxed facilitators and participants = happier world ;-)

My request is similar to this: Lock all items for all participants, but not for facilitators.
As a facilitator, I'd like to be able to edit and interact with any and all items on a mural, at any time, but they are all kept locked for all the participants. This is so I don't have to keep unlocking and locking anything, but can move items around or edit them, without the concern that others can do the same, and without the risk that I forget to lock everything again, once I've edited them.
This will also help when preparing murals as it means I don't have to keep unlocking the whole mural, make a few changes, and then remember to lock the whole mural again before I host a workshop.
This is effectively reproducing the situation a facilitator would have using a physical whiteboard. In preparing for the workshop, the facilitator can change anything as there is no-one else with access.
During the workshop, the facilitator is the only one next to the whiteboard, so they can interact with it at any time. Others are not physically near and so are unable to interact, unless invited to do so (unlock).

Hi @Stuart Thanks for your support for this idea!
I see your points. I will usually just unlock (CTRL+SHIFT+Left Mouse-Button) the objects that I want to change. In some rare cases I will "unlock all" in preparation of a session. I then drag an area around everything and lock everything. Basically my "risk" is the other way round that I've not unlocked something for them to use ;-)
In my workshops it's a little bit different, too. People will contribute content on their own and put it on whiteboards and flipcharts freely. So that's basically the same as in MURAL. I will prepare stuff and the "layout" etc. and the methodology, but they will create the contents.
Great to see how different people use MURAL to make things work :-)

I'd like to up this once again as I needed to make realtime-changes to shapes and areas while people were working on the mural. After temporarily unlocking the area, people unintentionally moved it. It would be great if I could unlock objects only for the facilitators, so that we could make changes, but the objects would still not be editable for everyone else. Would save trouble sometimes

HI, I did 'lock by facilitator' but now I'm trying to 'unlock' and it seems that I'm not recognized as the owner and the faciliattor, so How can I do it?
