Mural for Class Decorations - Ukraine Posters
Recently we organized a food and medical supplies drive at UE Iserlohn, the university in Germany where I work, and got a lot of press for it. The day the local paper was coming by for a photo shoot, I used Mural to create signs for the kids we invited from the school next door to hold that could be seen from afar, using the wonderful https://www.rawpixel.com/ to get an awesome array of heart png's which I placed on a Ukrainian flag background. They liked them so much they ended up covering a whole wall of their classroom with them! Using Mural to create a press collage is a confidence-building way to showcase students' efforts, and really give them the sense that their work and accomplishments are affirmed and appreciated.
Finally, UE will be welcoming a number of Ukrainian families as we also had a clothing donation drive, and they are invited to come help themselves to what they need as they arrive. The last mural ( https://app.mural.co/template/831835c2-c3ce-4554-9ba6-eef059848142/473ee34d-6b1f-463c-a83f-bdd8968e2a0a ) is a sign for the entrance door with "Welcome" in Ukrainian, German, English and Polish and yet another gorgeous image from https://www.rawpixel.com/.
It also features the Ukrainian Petrykivka painting style, considered part of their national heritage. I found it on the incredibly vast png website https://www.hiclipart.com/ after typing "Ukrainian art" into their search function.
Mural was invaluable throughout the planning process as well, but that's a story for another day. I hope these inspire you to get creative too!
