Check-in to get to know your peers better

Here is a fun example of a check-in that we created to get to know the people you work with and what makes them tick. In this exercise, each person gets a chance to write down a pet peeve or something that sucks the energy out of them. Then in pairs, they get to discuss the things that bug them. This discussion can create space for helping each other make work a little less buggy.
Maybe you find out that loud music makes it hard for your teammate to concentrate or super early morning meetings are extremely difficult. Hopefully, this check-in can lead to an open and honest conversation.
