💡Feature Idea: Embed Live Editable Spreadsheets
It would be nice if we could embed live interactive spreadsheets on a Mural board, such as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. This would be exceptionally helpful for long term project plans that expand horizontally.
This feature would include a vertical and horizontal scroll content block.

It would be great if we could embed a Google Sheets or MS Excel spreadsheet into a mural, maintaining the ability to edit cells and formulas within that spreadsheet. Even better, if possible maintaining a live link to the original file for real-time updating. I guess many users would appreciate that feature too.

I was researching this functionality and stumbled upon this post. I am trying to assist our PMO manager with a use case to duplicate her physical PM assignments whiteboard into Mural. I have a mock up version created which gives her an overview of who's assigned to what, their allocation, and she can easily move assignments around. However, the one missing thing would be an auto-calculation of a PM's allocation. I have yet to find anything comparable and would love to see simple formula functionality or an embedded spreadsheet in the near future!

Hm, what would be your use-case for this?
I have not yet used any Excel or Spreadsheet things in Mural. That's why I am asking. I would like to understand your cases.

(P.S.: By NO means is this the solution to your request, but in case it's also helpful as a temp option: there is copy/paste functionality between Excel/Sheets and MURAL.)

I know a lot of colleagues who use Excel to formalize requirements, features, and... Customer Journeys. They just create Excel templates and they find them very handy (hit a tab -> add a row).
I would like to see "spreadsheets objects" inside a MURAL, and the capability to export them as Excel files or copy and paste them into Excel. Likewise, I would like to copy an area of an Excel spreadsheet and have the option to paste it into MURAL as an actual spreadsheet, not as an array of post-its ("paste as post-its", "paste as spreadsheet"), giving me typical and very fast capabilities such as "add a row here", "add a column here"

yes me too.. I'm using Mural in my company, but unable to copy contents in spreadsheet mode into mural. it comes as sticky notes and doesn't look like a spreadsheet.. occupies more space.. It would be super if Mural has the similar tabular (row-column) style data contents

Yes please, include editable excel sheets, and other docs, like word, powerpoint, etc.... (Like MIRO app)
