Toolbar that doesn't move the canvas

1. What you want to be able to do in MURAL

  • Trying to add different content into the Mural Canvas, A setting that allow the users to choose if it moves the canvas or not would be ideal. I assume it's not for everyone. I prefer my canvas to stay in one place as I open or close the toolbar.

2. The problem you are trying to solve

  • Reduce the cognitive overload when the sidebar (which is huge btw) opens, it shoves the whole canvas to the right. The canvas ends up bouncing left and right a lot as I am editing

3. Why this helps everyone (or many people)

  • Simple UI improvements that helps everyone :)
