💡 Feature Idea: Facilitator Announcement (Similar to Timer Popup)

  1. I think it would be helpful to be able to broadcast an announcement to the team working in Mural. If we could just customize the timer text message that might be a viable work around.
  2. Working with a completely remote team, that is focused on Mural, team wide instruction on a different chat platform can be easy to overlook.
  3. I feel like this could be helpful for most facilitators that don't want to completely disrupt the workflow of the team, but would like to gently remind them of instruction or agenda.

    Oh yeah, that would be great. I usually use the feature in MS Teams to do so, but being able to do it in MURAL would be helpful because people sometimes won't notice things in the chat when they are focussing on MURAL. Great one!

    A quick (i.e. 3 second) banner announcement would be great; something they could not miss no matter where they are in the mural, that shows up across the top of their screens.

    @Christina @manuel Exactly. Mural does a great job of holding focus by letting the team interact (chat/comments) without leaving the Mural page. So good in fact, I've had trouble getting some to break focus to go look at Teams chat. And if I direct them to Teams I increase the potential for dividing their attention among the rest of the company.
