💡 Feature Idea: Improve Connector Arrows

The connection arrows in Mural are temperamental to say the least. Often the four blue dots never appear when hovering over an object you are trying to connect to another object, so the arrow instead connects to the background. Then, if you need to resize the background, or move anything, the arrows go crazy and no longer connect the objects you are trying to connect. Also, the pointer at the end of the arrow sometimes points up/down when you need it to point to the left/right and there is no ability to change it without playing with the arrows or removing and re-adding them, which is time consuming. If connector arrows had the ability to "pin" them to an object and if you could toggle through the pointer (up, down, right, left) if necessary, it would be a huge time saver for me and make the product more functional.

Thanks for sharing this, @crob123! Could you share a video of what you're experiencing? Some of these may be more connected to a support need, but I am unsure and will keep the post here for now 😉
While you continue receiving/growing votes on this feature request, I wanted to share a few similar to this one- please vote + help others who may be experiencing a variation on this similar theme.

The connectors are the thing I wish would be less fussy -- here's a video demonstrating the most common problem: https://www.loom.com/share/f152422d0a7f4c0cb1e6e3589b4305ae

Thank you, @HelenLinda. This definitely seems it could be a bit frustrating for users. Let's continue looking into this one and see if we can get a few additional votes of support + use cases.

I have the same problem. I create results chains and theories of change in Mural, so connectors are very important to me. Arrows are constantly getting disconnected from the object and I have to go back and re-connect them over and over. I've also experienced the situation where the arrowhead gets pointed the wrong way for some reason.

They really do have a mind of their own. I was editing my process flow and quite often they will disappear. Screenshot below shows where they are on the canvas (circled in blue) vs the rest of my content.
