💡 Feature Idea: 508 Compliant Color Palette

As 508 Compliance is a requirement of all government applications & documents, it would be great if Mural offered a 508 Compliant color palette (https://designsystem.digital.gov/design-tokens/color/overview/) as an option. Something like "Limit to only 508 compliant color palette" or "high contrast colors only". This would be helpful to all users who have any accessibility issues (e.g. color blindness) and also helpful to government contractors.

@crob123, thank you thank you thank you for sharing this one- we're listening and I've passed this note along to a few Muralistas who could help.
In the interim, there are a few additional comments on this AMA post in Community- could you let us know if there are any similar accessibility needs you've seen, using the platform?

Hi @crob123 -
Thanks for the message, I'm one of the technical leads from our Design Systems + Accessibility team. Features involving color blindness are definitely on our roadmap. At the moment we do not have plans to change our default color pallette, we are looking at ways to empower collaborators in a Mural to understand if the color they are choosing is compliant with WCAG standards and meets the important contrast threshold for users effected by visual impairments. I cannot say when these features will be released at the moment, but wanted to let you know these are in our plans.
Have a great day!
Brandon
