Feature idea: Automatically move areas away if resizing another one
1. What you want to be able to do in MURAL
I use areas as building blocks to design my murals. Sometimes I've laid out everything prettily, but I want to resize an area. E.g. I want to resize the selected area in the image (blue surrounding) and I want to make it bigger to the right. Now I would have to unhide the area at the top and unlock everything, move it, lock it again.
Now imagine that I as a facilitator in a design mode could just extend the selected area to the right as much as I needed and mural would automatically rearrange things and move the then "overlapped" areas to the same extend to the right to make them take the same amount of space as before extending the blue area. Wouldn't that be cool and save a lot of time?
2. The problem you are trying to solve
It's very time consuming to unlock things and move things and lock things again just to give content contributors a little more room...
3. Why this helps everyone (or many people)
We could have more time to actually enjoy working in MURAL instead of working on murals ;-)
