About Me:

I’m from Sweden and recently moved back to Stockholm after spending 10 years in Buenos Aires where I also met MURAL whom I’ve been working with for almost 8 years now! I’ve been working as a visual collaboration and learning experience designer and facilitator for more than 10 years. At MURAL I’m a  Learning Experience Lead with focus on templates. What I love most about my work is that I get to work with amazing people that I learn a lot from about methods and collaboration.

What’s your favorite template and why?

It’s very hard to pick one. One template that I really appreciate that doesn’t get as much attention as it deserves is the Team member manual. It’s a template that can be used to create a personal presentation of the members of a team. If everyone completes one and shares it with the rest of the team, it’s a great way to get to know each other and our working styles better. It also creates awareness about what else might be going on in our lives that contribute to increased trust and psychological safety.

To run this activity with your team, create a room with one mural for each person to work in. Each person can also adapt the color palette of their presentation to fit their personality. Then schedule a call and have each person share their manual with the rest of the group. Use the timer to make sure each person has time to share! Remind them that they only need to share as much as they feel comfortable with, but that the purpose of the exercise is to create a safe space where we can be vulnerable together and build trust. I highly recommend this activity both for new teams that are forming and existing teams that want to level up!
