Apple Pencil feature

There was a recent change that was put in for the iPad and Apple Pencil that's actually a little annoying. The change was to immediately (there's actually a slight lag which is also a problem) go to drawing mode when the pencil touches the screen. There should be an option to get out of that because now you can't move an object with the pencil. You have to use your finger for objects and then the pencil to draw. So I'm having to constantly switch back and forth from pencil to finger. I think an option to either toggle the option or be able to get out of drawing mode would be a decent solution.
