Hey, there! We'd love to know if there are tags you'd like to see in the community.

What are tags?

  • Keywords community members add to discussions.

How do you use them?

  • When you post a discussion - Add the tag, in the tag block.
  • When you are looking at the community - click on the tag link. It will take you to a page with all the discussions, events, ideas, and questions associated with that tag.

What do you do if you want a new tag?

  • Comment on this post, and we will check it out!

Hi @Amanda ! I just posted a slew of new templates in the Feature Idea part of the neighborhood here, because they are my response to @Ward's post there about Doughnut Economics, but I would also like them to go in the Template area, since they are, well, templates. I thought I could do a Template tag once I posted it to connect them to the Template section too, but I didn't see a Tag block. I thought it would show up post-post, but still don't see one.

How can I tag it, or should I just copy the whole thing to the Templates section as a new discussion there? I would love to get as many eyes (and feedback) on them as possible, but don't want to create unnecessary redundancies.

On a different note - I have no idea how to do cool emojis, perhaps Mural could offer a quick briefer on that sometime? I would love to pepper my message with them. Perhaps there could be a tag for something like Tips for that kind of info that people share :-).

Hi @Christina ! I don't mean to butt πŸ‘ in, but I saw your comment about tags and think I might be able to help!

You should definitely go back and tag your ideas with the templates tag! That way we don't have duplicated content around the forum. Start typing in the tag bar at the bottom of your discussion/idea for our available tags to populate.

Keep in mind, there is a limit of 5 tags per discussion! And if you want a tag that isn't there, a community admin will need to create it for you. (Just reach out!)

Emojis are amazing πŸ‘½βœ¨πŸ“ and are easy to add to community posts: simply click the smiley face while drafting and/or editing!

*Of course, there is always the handy `control + command + space bar` trick if you are using a Mac.

Hope that is helpful! Let me know what else you need!

Hi @Linds ! My computer shows the tag bar when I first hit on New IdeaπŸ’‘, but not when I Leave a Comment in response to a previous post, as is the case here. I tried two different computers with the same result. If this is the case with others too, it might be a feature idea for the future to add the tag bar at the bottom of all comments, not just new ones unrelated to previous posts...but it might just be my computers!

In any case, after having figured that out, I edited my first message and then put the template-filled one in as a New Idea in the Template section. I hope I did it right. Thanks for your help pointing me in the right direction (and I can't believe I did not see the Quick Tips tag before that was HIGHLIGHTED)!☝️

Great! Glad you got to a good place! Things are working as designed: we only tag Discussions, and not comments πŸ‘

    Please add these tags:

    #MCN

    #Mural Consulting Network

Hey there @Smart! Great suggestion. I added #MCN! I think MURAL Consulting Network might be too long of a tag.

    Thanks @Amanda.

  • Hi, I think project schedule or project network/task network could be useful
