💡Left Toolbar Option Behavior

In the new user interface, the left toolbar options remain open after they are selected. This behavior increases the toil when adding items from the toolbar. Great when you need multiple items, but unnecessary if you are only adding one item (i.e. one icon). I would love if these options closed automatically by default and have a "pin" option that I can use when I need to add multiple items.
