🏠🏡 Mission brief: Update your profile picture

Greetings to all! Today's "mission" is all about being someone here in the community. 👩🏼‍💻

We are all about human connection here in the MURAL Community - and we know that there is a lot that goes into making those connections. One thing that goes a long way is updating your profile with a picture, and a little information about yourself. You know, be somebody! ✨

The level of anonymity is up to you, of course! You are welcome to make your avatar a picture abstract if you like! Your avatar doesn't have to be a picture of your face, as much as we would like to see your face. It could be a picture of a pet, a favorite plant, or something else that represents you!

@Ward has one of my favorite avatars in this community: it moves! 🤯 (Teach us how you did that!)

Anyway, updating your profile picture is easy:

• Click the top right circle on this page
• Choose Edit Profile in the dropdown
• Choose Change My Picture in the right hand menu
• Click Upload New Picture

Thanks! This was helpful. I ended up here searching how to do this for my Mural account profile photo. I did update my Community Profile photo!

While it is a nice gimmick to have an animated profile picture, this can quickly turn into an annoying distraction (think: all those blinking websites of the mid 90s 😱). So kudos to @Ward - but please don't overdo it, guys! 🙏🏽

Hi,

When I'm trying to add a profile picture to my account, it doesn't save it.

I can add the picture from my PC at the account settings, which then shows in my profile.

However, there is no save button, and once i leave the page it disappears.
