💡 Feature Idea: Create custom color palette for (Enterprise) account
What I want to be able to do
I would like to be able to create a central custom color palette with our company colors for an (Enterprise) account or a workspace. Thus, everyone could easily access and use that company color palette without having to create it on their own.
Problem I am trying to solve
People use colors that do not comply with company colors sometimes and they sometimes do not know how or do not want to take the time to create a custom palette for themselves which corresponds with our Corporate Design color palette. I would like the consistent design of things because it would allow everyone to easier use the contents that have been created in company presentations etc. and would give a more consistent look (and still not kill creativity and play / fun, I hope).
Why this helps everyone:
Everyone would have access to the same company color palette and could easily use them without having to create them on their own. Providing something to everyone instead of making everyone having to set the colors on their own.

@manuel This is a superb idea and one that would be super helpful at my employer too, for all the reasons you mentioned. Perhaps it could be set up in a similar way to how anyone within our organization's workspace can get access to templates created and published in that workspace when the "Publish as template" feature is used - one person does the work once, everyone benefits.

And in addition it would be great if the custom colours would appear above the standard colours - currently it is the other way round so very often I cannot pick the colour I want, because I just cannot see it as my object is at the lower edge of my screen.
Maybe the workspace admin would even be able to hide the mural standard colours completely by replacing them by the companies colours.

@Thomas_Jorre You bring up a really "good" pain point:
What I want to be able to do: Use the drop down menu in its entirety wherever I am in the mural, because it is set up to pop up in the middle or upper half instead of somewhere it is not fully visible.
Problem I am trying to solve: Currently it shows up very low when you click on it, so that half or more of the menu, i.e. the custom colors, are not visible if you are anywhere in the lower half of the screen.
Why it would be helpful to everyone: It would save all the time and effort involved in going to the Move function, pulling the whole mural up or down or zooming and generally fiddling till a way is found to see the whole drop down menu. Since the latest custom colors are always on the last row at the bottom, exactly the ones you want would then be easily available instead of the hardest to select.

Manuel I am so happy you are posting on this forum.
I have been telling MURAL this for years!!!

Frankly I don't even need the palette "locked in" by an admin... I just want to create a palette and make it accessible to all my collaborators who are in a mural with me.

Agree. Everyone should still be able to create any color they like. I just want to "provide" an easy access to a pre-defined companywide color-palette.

@nathanlucy Thank you very much for that compliment!

Having something in Mural Settings for a company watermark or colors would be nice especially as more folks are using Mural over PowerPoint now

Our company has some great color palettes that it would be awesome to use so we can all stay on brand!

Agree! Our company is interested in implementing this as well; right now, we need to invite individuals to add our company's color palette individually, which is quite a barrier to success.
