💡 Feature Idea: free music and mute/volume controls

What I want to be able to do

I would like to be able to use music within a Mural - I would like to have some kind of free background (focus or energizing) music in Mural.

Problem I am trying to solve

I sometimes use free music or youtube videos with music but this always means: separate tabs or apps and I have to switch between them to start, select and stop etc. and sometimes it even has advertisements in between. So, Music that everyone can listen to (and maybe even turn on/off/louder/softer for their own?) in Mural would be cool.

Why this helps everyone:

Music is great as it creates atmosphere and helps to focus or to energize oneself/people. Almost everyone loves music and having free music with mute and volume controls for everyone on their own would help to feel even more comfortable :-)

  • Hey @manuel - So youre looking for an integration, right? Not just a MURAL music playlist but something that lives within MURAL?

@Beth: Right, that would be helpful and cool.

@manuel and @Beth Absolutely agree. The Kahoot music is something students love about it; it does add a lot to the experience. A couple of signature MURAL tunes, one to focus and one to energize, would be fantastic.

Great idea, I'm really interesting about it! It will be especially helpful during ideation or exploration exercises!

@Beth Maybe both would be cool: An integration of something popular like Spotify or "Dot Focus" and integrated playlists with free music would be great, too. Many MURAL users might not be allowed to use an integration, therefore some built-in music (energize, focus, reflection, ...) would maybe be the best choice in the first place.
