I have quite a few participants coming to my next session and not all of them need to see and do everything. Can you help me understand my options for permissioning? Thanks!

At a workspace level, the following are the permissions available to each workspace member.

    CREATING ROOMS

Members can create rooms in MURAL, which means they can start new projects, not just contribute to existing ones.

Rooms are collections of murals. Think of them like folders. Use them to organize murals by project. Here is a visual breakdown:

    PUBLISHING TEMPLATES

When you create a mural you plan to use again and again, it can be made into a template. Once a mural has been published as a template, anyone in your workspace can create a new mural from that template.

If a user has permissions to publish murals as templates, they’ll be able to publish a template from any mural they have access to. That template will be publicly available to everyone in the workspace.

    OPTION TO SEE OPEN ROOMS

Here it’s important to note that there are two kinds of rooms: open rooms and private rooms.

Private rooms are only visible/accessible to the creator and workspace members who were explicitly invited.

Open rooms are visible/accessible to anyone in your workspace, provided they have the permission to see open rooms.

A lot of us out there are MEMBERS and we are eager to hear what kinds of questions you have about this permission. Please share below if you have any questions, we're all ears!
