How Do You Invite Students to Your MURAL Classroom Workspace?
The most commonly asked question to our MURAL Education team is ☝️.
Over the past year, we've heard teachers use all three user types (members, guests and visitors) to invite 👩🎓👨🎓students to their free classroom workspace. (Note: only our Free Student and Classroom plans allow members/workspace admins to invite anyone in as a guest, regardless of their email domain.)

For smaller Studio courses, I always invite the students as members. I want them to be able to access MURAL on their own throughout the course, create rooms for project work, create murals without needing an instructor help. PRO TIP: This allows students to work on their own facilitation skills with MURAL's best-in-class Facilitation Superpowers (https://www.mural.co/superpowers).
For larger classes where the activities in MURAL will be infrequent, I prefer to invite students as visitors to MURAL - sharing links on an "as-needed" basis. I'm the instructor, not IT! I don't want to be worried about logged in users issues especially in situations when I might be operating solo. Join a mural, contribute, and be done! PRO TIP: Once your class activity is done, reset the link so that there are no stragglers (https://support.mural.co/en/articles/5063001-faq-user-roles-and-access#h_d16c837e2d)
