💡Feature Idea: Templates - sort templates, mark favorites and find them again

What I want to be able to do? I would like to be able to mark my favorites with a star (or so) and to be able to quickly see all of those favorites at once and find them again.

Problem I am trying to solve: MURAL now has lots of great templates, but to me it's hard to figure out the new additions and to find my favorites from this large pool for my own sessions.

Why this helps everyone (or many people): Everyone has favorite templates and wants to find them quickly, I suppose. And it would save time to easily find the new (this could be solved by sort by date) and favorite ones


All of this refers to working with MURAL's builtin templates in the first place, but they would also be helpful for our own templates, too.

    Thanks for the idea @manuel! We are exploring designs for finding and using templates, please comment here if you'd like to give us some feedback and we can schedule a time. This idea is on the list, would love to. hear from more people how they feel about it and why it's useful.

    Hi @manuel and @JanaeSmith and all MURAL fans! Now in production:

    1) Ability to "save templates for later" -- from the templates page, mark your favorite custom templates AND templates from the MURAL library and easily find them again

    2) A way to find the newest templates from within the product

    3) the ability to share a template right from the preview card

    Look forward to additional feedback to continue to iterate on these features so let us know what you think. And thank you for the great ideas!

    @manuel Super idea. I would love to be able to just move the ones I've created around within my workspace manually, so I could find the one I am looking for faster and see them in the order I wish them to be visible to my students too.

    I wished, I could mark templates from the preview as a favorite (e.g. when I follow a link from this community to a MURAL template):

    It would be great if there was a "save for later" / favorite button next to the "Share" button or if the share-panel had an option to do so. :-)
