π‘ Feature idea: Batch export all / multiple areas at once separately
1. What you want to be able to do in MURAL
I would be able to export all of the areas as separate files at once to PDF or export.
2. The problem you are trying to solve
Currently it needs a lot of time and efforts to export lots of areas of a mural manually. And lots of mails. I would like to save those effort, clicks and time ;-)
3. Why this helps everyone (or many people)
It would save time for everyone who has to export several or all areas if this was able via "press one button and go"-approach.
BONUS: As a bonus it would be great to be able to select the wanted areas from a menu or from the outline for export.

@manuel, this seems super useful! Thank you so much for sharing. If this would help you too, please let us know how you would use it, and please vote!

Addition: Today I use MURAL to host a presentation about a small project's status and people still love powerpoint to put somewhere and share it (esp. because when there are other presenters with PowerPoints instead of murals, too).
I would like to be able to easily export all areas from the outline to one PDF (maybe I can even select if hidden outline elements should be exported, too) - one area in the mural would lead to one separate page in the PDF (page orientation would depend on the area's aspect ratio being more landscape or more portrait ).
Would be cool to easily handout something if people would like to have it because it might be easier for them to handle a PDF in MS Teams/SharePoint than a Mural for later reference.

Awesome! Please also see this other ticket: https://community.mural.co/discussion/696/feature-idea-export-areas-in-your-mural-as-separate-pdf-pages
It is clear that this is something the dev team should focus on. π

Agreed, lot of my clients are complaining because the huge PDFs exported by Mural (I sent them) are not user friendly at all while reading with PDF reader or browser... this is a real painpoint. Thanks Mural for caring about this ;-)

Yes! Here are descriptions of some of our use cases: https://community.mural.co/discussion/848/export-import-a-mural-in-json-format
