Proxy voting

edited July 2021 in Ask a Question

Hi, I'm new here and this is my first post. Sometimes people join my mural session and can't log in/don't have an account. I can bridge the gap for most things by screensharing and by capturing their input through a Teams chat. However when it comes to voting, I cannot vote for them. Could I have an option to create proxy votes on behalf of one or more other people? Or is there a clever way to do this anonymously e.g. generate a unique vote URL for each person to email submit their votes. TIA

    Hi Andy,

Irish here from MURAL's support team 😊 Happy to help you.

You can invite your collaborators using the Visitor's link. Visitors join your mural without logging in, they are unlimited and don't count towards your memberships, and can still add content onto the canvas just like any other user can. ☺️

For voting sessions,  I can definitely see how that would be useful, right now we don't have that specific feature but you can go straight to the "Feature Ideas" section to submit a feature request where you can discuss and exchange ideas with other MURAL users. The intention is to make enhancement and feature requests transparent to all users. It would be great if you could post your suggestion there. 😊

Let me know if you have further questions! 😊

  • Hi Irish,

Thanks for getting back to me. My organisation has disabled visitor access as part of our security policy, so I'll do as you suggest and post as a feature request.

  • @AndyT thank you for posting the idea in the Feature ideas area. I am excited to see other peoples thoughts and votes on this.
