This is a great topic. I think that it is challenging to give feedback in times of remote work. So to me it is important to keep this going as way to stay involved and provide input. Otherwise people might feel they are working in a vacuum with no input from team members. I think a retrospective is a great way for the team to grow and learn. It is hard to schedule sometimes, but trying it out on the most important meetings or projects is another great way for the team to come together and hear each others thoughts.

Warmups and energizers are a great way to break the ice or have some time to chit chat before diving into work-related topics. Ultimately though it takes time to build trust (and a sense of belonging) so I think being more intentional and dedicating longer periods of time for team building activities and team feedback are better.
