💡Feature Idea: Shape Shadow
Hi,
Would it be possible to add shadow to shapes or notes? It doesn't need complex blur shadow. Simple flat shadows with various opacity and depth is sufficient.
With shadows, it will help with manipulation of shapes, and aesthetically more pleasing.
Thanks

Would be cool :-) More "modern" looking shapes.

As a workaround I sometimes duplicate the shape, send it to the background, change the color to grey and remove any border color. Then I arrange it slightly moved under the original shape and voilà : I fake-shadow ;-) Maybe this helps you, too in some cases (esp. when the shapes will be locked as "decoration" or so).

It would be helpful for me to easily design content which "stands out" or differentiates a "sticky" from a "square shape". Ability to add a drop shadow or something would be nice. Right now I have a content library item saved to do this, but it's less flexible than I'd like (have to ungroup, change, re-group, etc.).

I understand your point. Dropshadows would really be nice because the workaround is only really practical for "static" objects that we prepared before a session/workshop. I think I see your point there.

Is the ability to add a drop-shadow to a shape STILL not (easily) available? I'm certainly not seeing it anywhere yet? Would certainly give some separation to sticky notes

It seems having drop shadow is not a problem at all, it's already there if you click & hold on an area.
Why can't this be an option for area and shapes?
FigJam already has drop shadow for sticky notes

This would be a great addition! It is time consuming to create a shadow through the work around of adding another shape, send it to the back, change its color, group with the shape etc
