💡Feature Idea: Share items from content library with others
1. What you want to be able to do in MURAL: I would like to be able to share the small bits & pieces in my content library with other users right from the library. Yes, I could work around this with boards and rooms, but I imagine it would be cool to have an item, select "Share" from its context menu and then send the link to another user or publish it to the whole workspace. And I could switch views in my Content Library between "mine" and "shared" to easily find something that has been shared with me :-)
2. The problem you are trying to solve: Currently it's tricky to share small bits & pieces with someone else. One has to publish it as a whole template (which means browse, open, create new mural, select, copy and paste and insert somewhere else) or use shared rooms or shared murals to share small stuff. Feels a little too much effort for small things like a section for e.g. "Crazy 8" or "I like, I wish"-feedback.
3. Why this helps everyone (or many people): People who like to share could share more easily and people who like to browse through shared stuff, could easily find it :-)
Additionally it would be cool to have tags and full text search in the Content Library and maybe being able to open it in an overlay window to see all the stuff in there even easier at times... Just some ideas ;-)

I just want to add that this feature would help the look and feel of a project from start to finish because using the same content library keeps the aesthetics of artifacts consistent. I believe this is an important to emphasize your brand.

Also adding that with this idea, the concept of workshop "modules" would be easier to implement. That is, folks can use a template, but pull in reusable "modules" (exercises) for a specific workshop (mural board) using this idea of sharable content library. ..so +1 😁!

We would use Mural to design screens for the web apps we develop, having a central content library would be of great assistance to us so that we can have a central "asset library to quickly build the screens to a corporate standard. Great idea. 😉

This feels like an easy natural next step to improve productivity and effectiveness in designing new murals. It would be cool for people to be able to publish specific pieces of their content in their library for others import to their content libraries.

There should be a Workspace Content Library for the organization. Now its all private and I need tricks to share my private content library

Some users would like to have a feature to support sharing of icon sets with several users (in our account). A shared Content Library could be a solution for this. They would love to do some modelling stuff with those icons like e.g. in Visio to create architecture diagrams etc. Underlining this discussion :-)
