💡Feature Idea: Make Backstage Pass etc. accessible on-demand in Mural post-recording

  1. I missed John Kalbach's July 29 "Can Hybrid Work?" webinar - so mad at myself for that! - and would love to see it.
  2. Although lots of webinars are available on demand, this one sadly isn't, and neither are any Backstage Pass recordings, though I have found a bunch on Youtube that are really helpful
  3. It would make it easier for everyone to access your recordings if you put them all in one place and made them available post-event on your main website.
  4. Sidebar: This is another situation in which a Search function in the Mural landing page would come in very handy. I bet I am not the only teacher (and person) thirsty for all things Hybrid-related now that it is looking like that is the way things are going to go for the next few months at least.

In the meantime, might it be possible to see the July 20 webinar somehow?

Thanks!

  • Hey @Christina! It may have taken our team a moment to get the on-demand link of the "Can Hybrid Work?" session available on the webinars page but it is there now.

    Check it out here: https://www.mural.co/blog/can-hybrid-work-webinar-recap

Thank you for your feedback - i have shared it with our team!

Thanks for the ideas @Christina! When you say "This is another situation in which a Search function in the Mural landing page would come in very handy" are you thinking of the MURAL.co website? Or the search in the MURA application itself? Both? Curious if you'd get value from or expect to see these kinds of resources available from within MURAL itself or prefer/expect to find them a different way.

Hi @AshleyB , I mean in the main .co website, since that is the first stop for most people. I only have the app on my phone and rarely use it except to have a quick look at something. It is not so much that I expect these resources - I don't and find them a wonderful bonus feature - but since I know they exist, and find them to be very valuable as someone that is still learning about the many ways Mural can be used, I think as long as you guys have taken what is obviously the considerable time and trouble to make/write all these professional videos/posts, they should be easy to find.

Specifically, I am planning my first colleague workshop on how to use Mural this Friday and will likely give more, so yes, any and all things related to helping us teachers figure out how to make hybrid teaching rock next semester would be tremendously appreciated!

For example, I just found the amazing mural based on the tremendously helpful e-book on your site, which I will probably borrow some parts from for my workshop (I sure wish I knew how that cool chart was made with the "How Confident Are We?" part). That's something I ran across quite coincidentally on a template that had a link to https://www.mural.co/blog/immersive-storytelling which I would have never found. Later, there was no way I could search for it within Mural and after much scrolling through the Blog section unsuccessfully, finally remembered the key title words "immersive storytelling" and found it using Google. The article and related template is a treasure, but a hidden one. There is a lot to learn and discover. The more Mural can showcase its many learning resources in a way that makes them easy to find, the better!🕵️‍♀️
