💡 Feature Idea: Favouriting murals

Hi,

I've just seen a mural someone else has created. I'm going to need that later but I have 1000 other things to do first. Is there an easy way to 'favourite' a mural? Ideally I'd like a private room called favourites and then a heart icon at the top of any mural, so I can easily get back there later.

Apologies for my English spelling 😁

Andy

It depends. You can use "save for later" on MURAL's own templates to do so. There is an overlay button in the templates windows when you move the mouse over the small preview image.

  • Thanks Manuel. I'm thinking more about a mural that's come out of a workshop that I know I'll need to refer back to. With thousands of murals in our workspace, that single mural will quickly disappear from by 'recently accessed' list and guaranteed I'll forget what it was called!

Oh, maybe a list of your own murals "saved for later" would be helpful?

Currently there is only the feature to mark them as favorites (with the star icon) and I try to keep track of my currently relevant murals this way. Might that help you, too?

Another option would be to create a "private room" for your "come back later" murals and move them to there after your workshop. Might that be a workaround?

  • Aha! Gotcha. I wasn't seeing the star (which is just visible on the multiple mural view). The icon is the same as the shapes icon, which maybe threw me. I see it's also in the drop-down from the mural name when you actually open the mural.

This solves my problem. Thanks @manuel !
