I wanted to changed the color of my avatar. I really dislike olive drab green.

Allow users to define a default avatar colour choice. This could be overridden should two users in the same mural have the same Pantone choice but...

What's the idea behind it? That people prefer to have their own color for the avatar icon or because you let them use their color for objects as sticky notes or why would you like to be able to change that color?

First, choose your own colour... personal choice because some of the colours are very dull... Second, to default your post-its to your default colour making it easier to see what people are posting. The latter could be a preference option.

Would you like to have that feature for all collaborators (incl. "visitors") or only for registered users?

Given vistors are likely to be transient, I would suggest it only applies to registered users who are using the toolset regularly enough to be affected.

@laurenlutsky76 @ljohnstone I was emailed by a developer at Mural and they told me that if enough people promote and/or like this feature they will prioritize it and implement it into the next build. I guess we just need to get more people to agree to the feature.

Agreed, I love this idea. Company settings don't allow us to upload a picture. But my assigned avatar color is orange and I have always hated that color. It makes me almost not want to even use the tool because I'm stuck looking at that horrible color the whole time.

It is wild that this isn't a feature already! Even with a profile picture, a color is randomly determined as your icon border and for your broadcasted cursor color.

Any progress on this, yet? For me it's "just" that my avatar is stuck with a very bright purple that doesn't fit anywhere close to my CI/CD. But still it would be nice to be able to change that.

Hi everyone! This isn't currently on our roadmap, but I can get your feedback to our product teams as this has received a ton of feedback + votes.
Based on this thread, I see the following- you'd like this because it:
- Personalizes your experience
- Already exists, but isn't customizable
- Allows for association by teams or grouping by color

The teams by color has certainly come up before! Additionally, say I have a blue background and am automatically assigned a blue cursor; it would be great to change the color of my cursor for contrast on the same colored background.

Hi gang, unfortunately, this one isn't on our current roadmap, but has been brought to product's attention for consideration. I am adding this one to a product ticket now and will update you if/when I receive additional feedback.
