Thank you so much for wanting to add an idea for our product team to consider. MURAL iterates and improves all the time, and our product team loves to hear from you. A feature idea submitted may or may not be put into development immediately, but it will be seen. 👀

Some Guidelines

1. Search for your idea first. If you find one similar or one that solves your problem, vote in the poll! ✨
2. Can't find one? Add an idea!
3. Include what you want to be able to do in MURAL, the problem you are trying to solve, and why this solution helps everyone 🔥

Our community team will help you flesh out your idea if you need it!

How to Submit an Idea

1. Go to the category Feature Ideas
2. Click the button New idea
3. Start your title with our naming convention (💡Feature Idea: ) and title your idea with a one sentence summary of your feature idea
4. Add the details into the post body (what you want to be able to do in MURAL, problem you are trying to solve, why this helps everyone
5. Click Save
6. Sit back and watch everyone vote 🎆🎇🎆🧨

@JeremyJodeau The improved drawing aspects would be great. There seems to be something called Smart Draw and Smart Inking (https://support.mural.co/en/articles/2844661-smart-inking-on-windows-10-devices) but only for Windows10 devices and hard to find. It would be great to have those functions available generally and easily, i.e. directly where the Draw icon is for all devices.

Second wish: It would be great to have a link to this Community directly in the main Mural website page, as well as within our workspaces in the Learn category in there.

@manuel, appreciate the appreciation!✨ But, really, I was able to get your suggestion onto the "Feature Idea" post page. Now, whenever anyone goes to post an idea, they will see a block with the template right there. Making our community better one idea at a time! Thanks again.

Feature Idea: Have a search bar on top of the Feature Ideas Category that is searching only the post in Feature Ideas. Makes it so much easier to find whether an idea has been posted already!

You have a search bar on top, but when I search there the results are from the whole site:

Please make it possible to search just a category. Or let us know how to do that :-)

Oh @finnern this is a great idea. As you suspected, it is already possible to search within a category, and we also didn't have a post on how to do this yet! Thank you for the question. I wrote out some instructions in this post.

If you click the discussion filter under the search bar on the search results page, your filter options will change and allow you to filter by discussion category.

i would like to copy a table from mural to excel by using copy paste as known from MS Office and Windows.

@miobst, this feature currently is not supported by the platform, but can be submitted to our Feature Ideas section as a potential feature to include in our product roadmap.
