Finding content with ease

edited February 2022 in Ask a Question

Can you please consider adding a feature so that when you search for content within a Mural, it not only highlights the desired content (current state) but also migrates you each desired content (similar to the Find feature in Microsoft Word) and you click a Next button to move to the next found bit of content? This would make finding things much easier instead of having to scroll through the entire Mural board.

Ok, what are you going to do with that? I would like to understand how your work process is to better understand how this would be helpful. What are you doing with the found results one-by-one?

  • The intent is an efficient search process. Currently, when I search using the Find icon it tells me how many items its found that meets my criteria (which is great), however, I need to manually scroll through the entire Mural board to see the highlighted items. It would be very helpful if Mural had a search feature like Microsoft Office where it shows you a list of your found items that you could click and it takes you to that item automatically in the Mural board.

@cmkoits OK, I understand better now what kind of feature you are requesting. What would you do with those results then in the next step? Going through them one by one to read them or would you process them somehow?

  • Agus pointed out the arrow keys within Find that does what I am looking for. Thank you @Agus so much for sharing the video and thank you @manuel for following up with me to understand my requirements
